Inter-Club Council (ICC)

The Inter-Club Council (ICC) of the Associated Students of IVC (ASIVC) is comprised of registered active and approved clubs and co-curricular programs. IVC is home to over thirty student clubs and co-curricular programs that bring together students with shared interests ranging from academics, sports, art and cultural backgrounds. ICC sponsors club events, organizes campus-wide club activities, and holds monthly meetings with active clubs during the fall and spring semesters.

Career Research Assistance

Career research assistance is provided on walk-in or appointment basis. The career center staff will assist you in your search for a career path, academic major or employment.

Looking for assistance choosing a major? Developing a career path? Need help with a resume or cover letter? Make a 30-minute appointment with a counselor! The Career Center makes appointments every Wednesday for the following Monday – Friday.

IVC School of Guidance and Counseling Internship Program

Overview of Program

This application is to express interest in an unpaid internship* within the School of Guidance and Counseling at Irvine Valley College. This one or two semesters long program is for any student enrolled in a counseling, psychology, or related graduate program who may be interested in the college counseling field. Our internship will allow prospective interns an opportunity to explore careers and specialties areas in Higher Education.

The following stages represent a model of the career development process in which our counselors work. Understanding that this process is an ongoing and lifelong is stressed and that a person may weave in and out of these stages at various points in their life.
