Inter-Library Loan
Irvine Valley College students may be able to borrow books from other libraries through Inter-Library Loan. It will take a minimum of ten working days for books to arrive from other libraries. Books checked out through Inter-Library loan cannot be renewed.
Items not available through Inter-Library Loan:
- textbooks
- periodicals
- CDs/DVDs
To request a book from another library, please click on the InterLibrary Loan button found inside the book's catalog through the library catalog system.

Please do not request that we buy your textbook. The IVC library does not buy student's textbooks. There may be a copy on reserve if the professor has given us a copy for reserves.
