The cost of attendance includes not only college fees, books, and supplies, but also basic living expenses. IVC uses two different budgets, one for students living at home with their parents and one for students living off-campus on their own or with roommates. The budgets represent California state averages. Your actual expenses may be higher or lower than the amounts listed below.
IVC Financial Aid disburses financial aid funds to eligible IVC students in coordination with the Student Payment Office and Touchnet. Returning IVC students who previously had direct deposit with Nelnet will need to set up a refund method in Touchnet. Financial aid disbursements will be applied to any outstanding balances for the current term, and any excess balance will be refunded directly to students.

If you have been selected for verification and/or need to submit an appeal for Satisfactory Academic Progress, Maximum Time Frame, Unusual Circumstance or Special Circumstance - SAI Calculation, please log in to ivc.studentforms.com using your IVC email credentials to view and complete your financial aid file. Get help paying for college by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To be considered for federal financial aid for the next academic year, complete and submit your FAFSA as soon as possible starting October 1st.
The period of time that begins with the fall semester, includes the following spring semester and ends with the following summer session at IVC.
The calculated cost to attend Irvine Valley College. This amount includes enrollment fees, books, food, housing, transportation, and miscellaneous personal expenses.
Failure of a borrower to repay a student loan.
To be considered for federal and state financial aid at IVC, students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and add Irvine Valley College's Title IV School Code 025395 on the application. The FAFSA should be completed and submitted to the processing center as soon as possible after October 1st and before the March 2 deadline of each year for priority consideration for the next academic year.
