Irvine Valley College (IVC), through the IVC 30 to CPA Program and the IVC Foundation, has awarded three Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) review courses to outstanding accounting students, helping reduce financial barriers and support their progress toward professional certification. The awards were made possible through the generous support of TimeValue Software and UWorld, a global leader in comprehensive academic and professional education.
The Spring 2026 recipients were Quynh Curtis, Abraham Mohammad, and Shirley Sanchez.
“This support makes a real difference for me,” said Quynh Curtis. “It helps reduce the cost of preparing for the CPA Exam and motivates me to keep moving forward toward my goal of becoming a CPA.”
The UWorld CPA Elite-Unlimited Review Course, valued at $3,899, provides comprehensive preparation resources for one of the most important steps on the path to becoming a licensed Certified Public Accountant. The course combines expert-led instruction, blueprint-aligned content, realistic mock exams, smart learning technology, and engaging and precise video lectures led by Peter Olinto and Roger Philipp to maximize retention and efficiency. Every tool is designed to mirror the real CPA Exam and focus only on what truly matters.

Students who already hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline can enroll at IVC to complete the accounting and business coursework needed to meet California's educational requirements for CPA licensure.

To be eligible, students had to be currently enrolled in an accounting course at IVC, have completed an IVC accounting course in a prior semester, submit a personal statement, and receive a Notice to Test from the California Board of Accountancy.

The IVC 30 to CPA Accounting Program is available to students enrolled in courses within the South Orange County Community College District. Through the program, students receive guidance on accounting coursework, access to Zoom meetings and recordings with area accounting firms, resume review and other resources to support their career development.
