Irvine Valley College (IVC) has the highest rate of students transferring to four-year schools out of all 116 community colleges in the state, including to prestigious universities like Brown, Columbia, Caltech, Harvey Mudd, Penn, UC Berkeley, UCLA, and USC.

Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) agreements with UC Irvine, UC Davis, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, UC Merced, and UC Santa Cruz offer guaranteed admission to students who meet their guidelines.
If you complete a special Associate Degree for Transfer at IVC and meet the minimum eligibility requirements, you’re guaranteed admission to a CSU.
If you’ve set your sights on attending a private school, IVC has transfer agreements with Brandman University, Chapman University, Concordia University, University of La Verne, and many others.
Plus, IVC offers more than $20 million in financial aid each year, including scholarships, grants, and work-study. This past year, we have offered more financial aid than ever at IVC!

Small class sizes provide an opportunity for a more personalized learning experience for students. Student Life at IVC is as diverse as its student body. With a huge variety of clubs and activities to choose from, there’s something for everybody.
IVC Athletics has been a member of the Orange Empire Conference since 1990, and has collected 25 state championships and 60 conference titles. IVC competes in 10 varsity sports: men’s baseball, men's tennis, women’s badminton and beach volleyball, and men’s and women’s basketball, soccer, and volleyball.
