Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) agreements with UC Irvine, UC Davis, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, UC Merced, and UC Santa Cruz offer guaranteed admission to students who meet their guidelines.

CSU Transfer: A Degree with a Guarantee

If you complete a special Associate Degree for Transfer at IVC and meet the minimum eligibility requirements, you’re guaranteed admission to a CSU.

Agreements with Private Universities

If you’ve set your sights on attending a private school, IVC has transfer agreements with Brandman University, Chapman University, Concordia University, University of La Verne, and many others.

Cost of Going to College

The cost of attending Irvine Valley College is very low compared to the private, UC, and CSU systems. First-time college students may also be eligible for FREE tuition through Irvine Valley Promise. Plus, IVC offers more than $20 million in financial aid each year, including scholarships, grants, and work-study. This past year, we have offered more financial aid than ever at IVC!

Athletics & Student Life

IVC Athletics has been a member of the Orange Empire Conference since 1990, and has collected 24 state championships and 58 conference titles. IVC competes in 10 varsity sports: men’s baseball, men’s tennis, women’s badminton and beach volleyball, and men’s and women’s basketball, soccer, and volleyball.

Student Life at IVC is as diverse as its student body. With a huge variety of clubs and activities to choose from, there’s something for everybody.
