Purpose and Service

The SHPE of IVC shall promote public awareness of engineering and the opportunities it affords in the professional industry and academia; to stimulate and develop student interest in engineering; to strive in promoting participation at all levels of responsibility in the field of engineering by the Hispanic/Latinx and ethnic minority communities; and to endeavor in the advancement of the Hispanic/Latinx professional engineer within the individual engineering disciplines.
