Congratulations to Art Instructor Mary Gulino on being named IVC’s Outstanding Emeritus Teacher of the Year.

Mary is an instructor whose artistry, experience and mentorship have touched countless students over the years. With more than 25 years of teaching painting, drawing and photography, she brings a sharp eye for detail, color, balance and perspective, guiding students to explore their creativity while strengthening their skills. Her classes are welcoming, encouraging and professional, inspiring artists of all levels to experiment, grow and find their own voice. Her influence extends beyond the classroom, with many of her students going on to exhibit their work at local art shows, including the Orange County Fair Fine Arts Exhibition. As a professional artist and photographer, she has also showcased her own work at festivals and venues, bringing real-world insight and inspiration to her students. Her dedication, patience and joy in teaching make a lasting impact on everyone she mentors.
