On April 15, IVC hosted its 5th Annual Preview Night, welcoming 3,124 prospective students and their families to explore the college’s programs, services, and campus community. Attendees learned about IVC’s top-ranked transfer success, including its distinction as No. 1 in Orange County for transfers to every UC.
The main presentation, which featured a welcome from President Hernandez, offered insight into financial aid, the Irvine Valley Promise Program, the IVC Honors Program, dual enrollment opportunities, and comprehensive student support services. The resource fair featured 55 booths highlighting academic departments, support programs, career pathways, and co-curricular opportunities.
Attendees also had the opportunity to attend five breakout sessions, including Behind the Scenes: An Inside Look at the Performing Arts; Art Happens Here: Open Studios and Classrooms in the Visual Arts Complex; Breaking Barriers: Inspiring the Future of Women in STEM; The Adult Learner Experience: Returning to College at IVC; and a GAP4+1 informational session.
