Students at booth for Manufacturing Day

IVC welcomed over 150 students from the Tustin and Irvine Unified School Districts to the Advanced Technology & Education Park (ATEP) on October 6 for Manufacturing Day. This event provides students with a valuable opportunity to gain insights into various aspects of manufacturing, broadening their perspectives on the diverse career pathways within this industry.

The event featured hands-on demonstrations by instructors from the Design Model Making & Rapid Prototyping, Drafting Technology, Electrical/Electronic Technology, and Engineering programs.

An Industry & Resource Expo highlighted numerous programs for students and facilitated connections with manufacturing companies to explore potential careers in the field.

Manufacturing Day is an annual nationwide event celebrated on the first Friday of October. This initiative aims to engage with the next generation, create a positive perception of the manufacturing industry, and contribute to building the future workforce.
