ELEVATE AAPI (Equitable Learning Experience Valuing Achievement, Transfer and Empowering Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders) is designed to better serve Irvine Valley College’s students and the local community through targeted initiatives and expanded resources. The program is supported through on-going Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Student Achievement Program state funding to provide culturally responsive services to enhance student educational experiences and promote higher education success for low- income, underserved, and first generation Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (AANHPI) students and other underrepresented students.

CAANAPI
The Center for Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander, or CAANAPI (pronounced “canopy”), is a dedicated space and learning resource center open to all IVC students. It is located in E2.201.
