Irvine Valley College’s Circle K International Club won 2nd place in the Outstanding Club T-shirt Contest at the annual California-Nevada-Hawaii (CNH) District Fall Training Conference. The conference took place November 3-5 in Sonora, California. The winning T-shirt was designed by IVC Circle K Vice President Jenny Nguyen and features the club’s theme, “Buzzing for Service.”

The focus on bees highlights the three tenets of Circle K: service, leadership, and fellowship. In colonies, bees work together and help each other to reap the sweet reward of honey. IVC’s t-shirt design beat out entries from over a dozen colleges and universities, including University of California and California State University campuses.

About 700 Circle K members from California, Nevada, and Hawaii attended the annual conference. Members gathered for workshops, leadership training, and service projects, and had the opportunity to network with members from across three states.

IVC Circle K would like to thank the Kiwanis Club of Irvine and ASIVC for their generous support, which allowed 18 student club members to attend this year’s conference. The club meets every Thursday at 5 pm in B 209.
