Welcome to the Classified Senate webpage! I am excited about all we have planned this year to promote professional growth and increase participation campus-wide. Be sure to check back regularly for events, opportunities, and to provide feedback on important issues that affect our campus.The role of the Classified Senate is to represent all classified professionals of Irvine Valley College in the participatory governance system and provide an opportunity to voice our various opinions, needs, concerns and viewpoints to the administration, faculty and classified managers. I hope you will join me and our fellow colleagues by participating in our Classified Senate meetings, serving on committees, and the various campus-wide task forces. We also invite you to attend and enjoy the retreats, workshops, celebrations and other fun events that promote participation in our campus community.
