In these stressful times, I know it may seem hard to keep track of what is opening and what is closing. That is why I wanted to share with you some important updates made during Governor Newsom’s news conference today regarding modifications for Orange County and our neighbors.
Effective immediately, counties included on California’s monitoring list must close some previously opened sectors, unless they can be modified to operate outside or by pick-up. They include fitness centers, worship services, offices for non-critical sectors, personal care services, hair salons and barbershops, and malls. The Governor also ordered all remaining California counties to shut down indoor restaurants, bars, and movie theaters. Orange County has already been under this order.
The Governor also stressed the importance of mitigating the spread for the long-term. He asked all Californians to adapt to new behaviors to slow the virus. I hope I can count on each of you to do your part!
I totally understand that not being able to go to the gym or hang out with friends can be adding stress to your lives. That’s why I want to remind you of the resources that IVC provides.
