COVID-19 Updates & Resources

February 12, 2020

For Immediate Release:
Wednesday, February 12, 2020

In an effort to support the well-being of our Irvine Valley College campus community, we are continuing to proactively monitor the coronavirus with our healthcare agency partners. There are currently no changes to report in Orange County.

As this is peak cold and flu season, we do encourage you to be proactive about your overall health. It is not too late to get a flu shot, which is the best way to prevent the flu and its potentially serious complications. We ask you to join us in keeping your vaccinations up to date, washing your hands often, staying hydrated, and helping us prevent the spread of infections and viruses such as the flu. To learn more about the coronavirus, please visit the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) website for the latest and most reliable information.

Please have a safe and happy President’s Day weekend.

Best regards,

Cindy Vyskocil, Ed.D.
Acting President
Irvine Valley College
