An introductory integrated survey of the major principles of biology. General topics include molecular and cell biology, physiology, genetics, ecology/environmental science, and evolution. May be taken with or without Bio. 1L. Credit in either BIO 1 or 1H, but not both.

Recommended laboratory course to accompany BIO 1 or BIO 1H lecture and may be taken independently or concurrently with the lecture, but not prior to either. Topics include the application of laboratory equipment and procedures to the investigation of biological systems from the biochemical, cellular, organismal, ecological, and evolutionary perspective.

A survey in business providing a multidisciplinary examination of how culture, society, economic systems, legal, international, political, financial institutions, and human behavior interact to affect a business organization’s policy and practices within the U.S. and a global society. Covers the basic laws and principles of California real estate including encumbrances, agency, contract law, finance, appraisal, escrow, taxation, fair housing, and real estate licensing law. Required for the real estate salesperson license exam. Applies toward the state's elective educational requirements for the broker's examination.

Explores the impact of social-cultural issues on sports and social scientific theories that help explain attitudes and behaviors behind social-cultural issues. Investigates, discusses and debates past, current and future trends of social-cultural issues in sports. Explores the ways socio-cultural issues impact American and global society.
