Transfer Center Special Programs

Cal State University, Fullerton Center for Careers in Teaching (CCT)
The CCT program provides academic advisement for students who are planning to teach. IVC students can meet with the CSUF representative in the Transfer Center to discuss preparation requirements for high school, elementary or special education credential programs.

Guaranteed Admission Programs

• UC, Irvine Preliminary Admission in the Field (PAIF)
  The PAIF program offers on-the-spot, provisional admission to UCI for qualified IVC students. Students who have met the minimum PAIF requirements (information is available in the Transfer Center) can consult with a UCI representative at IVC to review their qualifications. Eligible students may then apply to UCI through PAIF and will be given a contract which outlines requirements to be completed prior to transfer to UCI.
• UC Davis and UC Santa Cruz
  Agreements require early submission of applications for participation. Check in the Transfer Center by September for Fall 2005 participation.
• UC Santa Barbara
  The guaranteed admission program allows students to apply via the normal online application process in November.
