PRIORITY REGISTRATION:
Online registration by Registration Time begins April 8 for summer 2013.
CONTINUING STUDENTS:

NEW AND FORMER STUDENTS:
Online registration by Registration Time begins April 29 for summer 2013. Registration times are assigned in the order that admission applications are received and processed. You are a new student if you never applied to IVC or Saddleback College. You are a former student if you previously attended IVC or Saddleback College but have been away for one or more semesters (not including summer).
The Summer 2013 term begins Tuesday, May 28. At that time, online registration is still available for open classes that haven't begun and for closed classes requiring instructor permission by APC (Add Permit Code) through the last day to add with instructor permission. See the class schedule for specific dates for each class.

High school students (9-12) who complete their application materials will be assigned online registration appointment times. K-8 students can only register in person (see below for in-person registration times).
To access online registration, go to MySite and log in using your Student ID number and your PIN number.

HOW REGISTRATION TIMES ARE ASSIGNED
New and Former Students:
To get a registration time, apply online. Your registration time is issued on a first-come, first-served basis when you submit your application. You may be advised to complete an assessment and orientation session prior to registration. If so, you will be given instructions when you apply.
Continuing Students:
If you have been enrolled at IVC or Saddleback College during the current semester and will receive at least one letter grade or "W" grade, your registration time is automatically assigned based on the number of units you've completed up to 79 units. Times are assigned in order of 79 units to 0 units completed. Later times also apply for 80 or more units completed. Check your MySite account for your registration day/time.
ADDING CLASSES - FULL SEMESTER CLASSES
During the first week of instruction:
If the class is open (i.e., if it is posted on the Open Class List online), you may enroll online using your MySite account.
If the class is closed, you must consult the course instructor for permission to enroll. Instructors will use their discretion in issuing add permits. You may enroll online using the add permit code (APC) issued by the instructor. Enrollment with an APC must be done by the last day to add indicated on the APC.
During the second week of instruction:
All full-semester classes are considered officially closed and require an add permission code (APC) issued by the instructor. Add permits must be used by the end of their expiration date or they will not be honored.
ADDING CLASSES - SHORT-TERM AND 8-WEEK CLASSES
Once the term has begun, you may enroll in open eight-week, short-term, and other late-starting classes only until the day before the first class meeting. Once a class closes, instructor permission is required for all add activity.
DROPPING CLASSES
You can drop a class online in MySite registration, or by filing a "Drop Card" at the Office of Admissions and Records. The deadlines for dropping a class are:
- Drop without a "W" grade - no more than the first 20% of the course based on the ticket number.
- Drop with a "W" grade - no more than 65% of the course
For specific course deadline dates refer to detail information in the online schedule of classes.
