Tasks of the Office of Research and Planning (ORP)

The Office of Research and Planning (ORP) is responsible for the following tasks:  

Coordinating the Irvine Valley College Strategic Planning Procedure (SPP);

Facilitating Program Review and supporting Student Learning Outcomes;

Reviewing and providing reports and information to national, state, community organizations, and internal offices at Irvine Valley College;

Conducting, validation and exploratory research studies, as well as information technology related data-mining and limited data warehousing;

Providing planning support to office and staff members, and,   Using various technologies to meet Knowledge Management (KM) needs.
