WE DO ‘LIVE SCAN’ FINGERPRINTING IN A SECURE AND CONFIDENTIAL ENVIRONMENT

Our Services

Our services include Live Scan Fingerprinting for employment, licenses, volunteers, adoption, criminal record checks and other legal purposes. Fingerprints are electronically submitted with our Live Scan device, and within hours are transmitted to the below agency(s) for criminal record checks.

The Irvine Valley College Police Department is located at building CP100 in the back of parking Lot 8.

Thirty minute parking is available in front of the Campus Police Station.



Live Scan Hours of Operation

OFFICE HOURS:  Monday-Friday  8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Live Scan Service Hours Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM - No Appointment Necessary

Appointments may be scheduled for Monday-Friday 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Required Documentation

At the time of your Live Scan you must present the following:
3 Completed Copies of “Request for Live Scan Service” application
      ORI number must be filled in.
      Level of service must be checked.
1 Valid government identification with photo
       Valid Driver’s License ( Any State)
       Valid DMW issued Identification Card
       Valid Military Identification Card
       Valid Resident Alien Card
       Valid Immigration Card
       Valid US Passport

Rolling Service Fee

$15.00 IVC and Saddleback College Students/Employees
$20.00 General Public

Typical Applicant Clearance Fees (based on the level of service requested):
DOJ $32.00
FBI  $19.00
We Accept Cash, Credit Cards, or Check. Checks will be made out to Irvine Valley College

Re-submission

Effective as of June 27, 2012

There will always be a chance that your fingerprints may be rejected by the Department of Justice (DOJ).  If you are notified by DOJ of a rejection, you will have thirty (30) days from your last Live Scan date to have your prints redone and resubmitted at no cost to you.  If you exceed the thirty (30) day time frame, you will be responsible to pay the full amount of the Live Scan service fee.
