For students planning to attend Irvine Valley College in Fall 2013, the Early Bird Registration Program begins March 1, 2012.
The deadline to submit your IVC application is March 31, 2012.
Deadlines are strictly enforced. If you apply after this date, you will need to follow the regular new student admission process at www.ivc.edu
Early Bird Registration Program
Steps At-A-Glance
Step 1: Submit an Application for Admission
Complete Irvine Valley College’s online application. (Go to www.ivc.edu and click on “How to Enroll”) To be in the Early Bird Registration program you MUST apply online. You will receive an IVC student identification number via email within several days.
Step 2: Complete an Online Orientation Once you have applied to IVC and received your student ID number, you may access the online orientation, available 24/7 from any computer with internet access at www.ivc/orientation The orientation is designed to give you an overview of the IVC experience. It introduces the college’s programs, services, policies and expectations.
Step 3: Complete an Assessment (placement) test
To continue in the Early Bird Registration Program, students must participate in scheduled English and Math assessments. You will need your IVC student ID number to take the test.
Go to http://www.ivc.edu/resources/matric/pages/assessment.aspx for assessment test dates or call the Assessment Center at 949-451-5315. The IVC Assessment test may also be offered on-site at various high schools. Check with your Career Center or Counseling Department.
