In order to be eligible for Phi Theta Kappa, applicants must fulfill following requirements:
- Have qualifying cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher based on classes taken in the last five years
- Completed 12 units of coursework in the SOCCCD withing the last five years
- Have Irvine Valley College as their college of record in the South Orange County Community College District (SOCCCD)
- Submit following:
- completed membership application
- appropriate membership dues (make your checks payable to IVC)
- a copy (front and back) of your ASIVC Student ID Card with current semester Activity Sticker (available at the Bursar's office - SC160)
- Proof of GPA and completed units (printed copy of Academic History from MySite)
NEW MEMBER DUES $75
* applications received without the membership dues will not be processed
New members: Bring your completed application to a new member orientation.
You can also drop off your application, check, and photocopy of your ASIVC Activity Sticker in the Honor Society drop box in the Student Affairs Office, Room SC-260, or to the drop box located in the Honors Program lounge (A201A), or mail to:
