About Fabienne Levenson

Professional dancer and dance teacher, started dancing at age 17 in France. She performed with Ballet Jazz Alzetta, Company Off Jazz, the Opera Ballet de Nice and Lyon, and the Ballets Contemporains de St. Etienne. In the US, she danced with Company Chaddick, Liss Fain Dance Company and Project Bandaloop (featured in the Disney movie “America, Heart & soul”). She received a Horton Award nomination in 2006 for her outstanding performance in the Award piece, The Cage and dances regularly for MOTION/TRIBE.

Ms. Levenson has taught in OC at Saint Joseph Ballet, Orange County High School of the Arts, Jimmie De Fore’s and Focus Dance Center. She currently teaches modern dance and yoga at IVC and is Associate Director of the Performing Dance Ensemble.
