His responsibilities include instruction in business management, the coordination of the Retail Management Certificate program, and serving as the faculty advisor for the Business Leaders Society. Prior to joining Irvine Valley College, Dan acquired a wealth of management experience with ARAMARK, a Fortune 500 company with over 250,000 employees serving in 22 countries. In addition to his management expertise, Dan brings many years of instructional experience developed as a member of the adjunct faculty at Biola and Concordia universities. In 2008, Dan was awarded a doctorate in business administration following the successful defense of his dissertation which explored the supply and demand of management education in China. In his spare time, Dan enjoys spending time with family, golf, scuba diving, and the outdoors. Dan resides in Irvine, is married, and has three children. As an individual, Dan is committed to lifelong learning. As a member of the IVC faculty, Dan is committed to supporting the efforts of those he is privileged to associate with in their journey of lifelong education.
