Deadline to apply for Graduation is Monday, March 29, 2010
Students who plan to complete a degree, certificate of achievement, or GE transfer certification in the spring semester must apply for graduation by March 29th.

UCLA Rep at the Transfer Center
A Representative from UCLA will be available to meet individually with IVC students on Monday, March 22nd from 10:00 am-4:00pm in the Transfer Center. What can you do with an AA, AS, Certificate or Special Training
An IVC Counselor will conduct a workshop that will explain The Differences in Associate degrees, Certificate or Special Training on Wednesday, March 24th from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in B211. This workshop will be held within a CSTU 102 class; and walk-ins are welcome. How to Select a Major
An IVC counselor will conduct a workshop on How to Select a Major. Handouts will be shared. The date will be March 30th from 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in P-1. This presentation will be held within a CSTU 1 class; and drop-ins are welcome! The P-1 classroom is behind the B cluster of buildings, across from Lot 8A. Job Search Series: Part 1. Resume Writing for the Job Seeker Laura U'Ren, Career Placement Officer, will conduct a series of workshops related to the job search. Career/Transfer Fair, Thursday, April 8th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Student Services Quad (front of building). There will be university and employers representatives available to give out transfer information. Employers will be available to discuss employment opportunities their companies have available.

Wardrobe Basics for the Interview & the Workplace
Laura U'Ren, Career Placement Officer will present Part 3 of the Job Search Series, Wardrobe Basics for the Interview and the Workplace, Tuesday, April 27th from 1:00p.m. - 2:00 p.m.. This session, the last of the workshop series, teaches you how to build your work wardrobe with a few basics and to dress for the interview.
