UCLA Campus Tour
Sign up early to attend the annual UCLA TAP/Transfer Conference which will be on November 20th. Faculty from the Honors Program and Transfer Center will drive vans. You must register on line. Please come to the Transfer Center or Honors Office for the email address and to confirm participation. This is a wonderful opportunity to tour the campus, meet with UCLA academic counselors and attend information sessions.

CSU Long Beach Rep at Transfer Center
A Representative from CSU Long Beach will be available to meet with students and answer questions concerning admission requirements, majors offered and general campus information. The Rep will be sitting at a table located in the Student Services Quad area on Monday, November 23rd from 9:00am-12:00pm.
Job Search Series: Part 3 - Job Search Strategies for the Job Seeker
Laura U'Ren, Career Placement Officer will conduct a Job Search Series: Part 3 Job Search Strategies for the Job Seeker. Strategies for ways to look for employment will be discussed. This workshop will be held on Tuesday, November 24th from 1:00 p.m - 2:00 p.m. in SSC230. To register for any of the workshops in the Job Search Series, start with IVC homepage, select Offices & Services and then the Career & Job Placement Center.
UC Santa Barbara Rep at the Transfer Center
a Representative from UCSB will be at the Transfer Center on Wednesday, November 25th, from 10:00am-2:00pm to meet individually with IVC students. Job Search Series: Part 4 - Mock Interviewing for the Job Seeker
Laura U'Ren, Career Placement Officer will conduct this Job Search Series: Part 4 - Mock Interviewing for the Job Seeker will be held on Monday, November 30th in SSC230 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.. Mock (practice) interviewing will be done in a group session. This is a must for the job seeker! CSU Fullerton Campus Tour
The Transfer Center will provide transportation to CSU Fullerton for students who are interested in visiting the campus. The Tour will leave IVC at 9:15am and return at 12:30 pm. on Friday, December 11th. This is a wonderful opportunity to see the campus and learn about the majors offered and admission requirements. Seating is limited so call early to reserve a seat at (949) 451-5339.
