Slavic Duo: Natasha Kislenko, Piano & Alicja Dutkiewicz, Cello
Moscow-born pianist Natasha Kislenko has performed throughout Russia, Europe and the United States. Critics praise her "great artistry," "perfect technique," and "extraordinary richness of nuance and color." In 1996 Kislenko made her Carnegie Hall solo recital debut, and in 2004 she completed her doctorate in piano performance at the State University of New York, Stony Brook. Kislenko has collaborated with such notable artists as Sarah Chang, Zvi Zeitlin, and James Buswell.
Cellist Alicja Dutkiewicz is regarded as one of the most internationally successful Polish musicians of her generation. Born in Warsaw into a distinguished family of musicians, Dutkiewicz came to the U.S. in 1987 to continue her music education. She graduated from the Eastman School of Music and earned her master’s degree in cello performance at the University of Southern California. An avid chamber musician, she has collaborated with distinguished artists including Yo-Yo Ma, Paul Katz, and James Buswell.
