Fiorello Auditions New Show at IVC
Performing Arts Center
December 19, 2007
Theatre patrons will want to mark their calendars for Irvine Valley College’s main stage spring production of Fiorello. From the team that created Fiddler on the Roof, Fiorello!—winner of both the Tony and Pulitzer Prize—tells the story of the rise to power of New York’s “Little Flower,” Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia. In a time when the crooked political machine known as Tammany Hall was up to its ears in graft, vice and corruption, it took this small, honest man to break their stranglehold on New York City politics. With guts and perseverance “The Little Flower” put a bright, new shine on the Big Apple. The college will present this Fiorello on April 11, 12, 17, 18, 2008 • 8 pm & April 13, 19, 2008 • 2 pm. Tickets are $10/11. This performance will be held in IVC’s brand new performing arts venue, as part of the theatre’s gala opening season. For ticket information, call (949) 451-5303.
Auditions for Fiorello will be held: 1/22 & 1/23 at 7 p.m. for Singers/Dancers/ Actors. For information call: (949) 451-5303.
