Broadway song review

Join the Irvine Valley College Department of theater for an evening of Broadway music spanning the decades, a rollicking romp through some of America’s favorite songs, Aug. 10 & 11 at 8 p.m. in the Forum Theater. Admission is free. For information, call (949) 451-5453.

Choir auditions

A dynamic new choir is looking for great voices. The Voces Master Choral at Irvine Valley College is auditioning for a highly selective ensemble, Aug. 12 and 15, 7-10 p.m., for innovative performances and a compelling repertoire. Theater looking for actors

The Irvine Valley College Department of Theater is holding auditions for a “jazzy-bluesy” Twelfth Night by Shakespeare on Tues. and Wed., Aug. 29-30 at 7 p.m. Twelfth Night will open Oct. 20. IVC hosts “Welcome Day”

Irvine Valley College is hosting its annual Welcome Day on Thurs., Aug. 17, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. The campus wide event includes class, student services and program information; entertainment; campus tours; counseling, admissions, and transfer information; and refreshments.
