College names Classified Employee of the Year

Jeanne Venditti has been named the 2005-2006 Classified Employee of the Year. Venditti started with the college district in 1999 as an assistant to the director of the International Students Program. In 2002, she began working as an administrative assistant in the Office of Instruction, where she currently divides her time between the Honors Program and the Office of the Academic Senate.

Venditti has played an integral administrative role in both offices over the years, and is admired by colleagues for her efficiency and aplomb. She is highly regarded by both students and faculty for her ability to pull together information and to provide essential services on a moment’s notice.

Venditti received the award for her in-depth knowledge of two distinctly different offices by providing operational support while in separate campus locations.
