Irvine Valley celebrates City of Irvine Anniversary
Irvine Valley College and the City of Irvine present the Irvine Valley College Orchestra and the Wind Symphony in a free concert on Sunday, April 23 at 4 p.m. Dr. Stephen Rochford will conduct.
The concert will feature music by Jean Sibelius, Franz Joseph Haydn, Gustav Holst, Anatoli Liadov, John Newton, and America the Beautiful by Samuel August Ward. A concert finale will include both the orchestra and symphony in a Happy Birthday Salute to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the City of Irvine.
The concert will be held at the City Hall Piazza, at One Civic Center Plaza, at the corner of Harvard and Alton, in Irvine. For information, call (949) 451-5366
