Free home computer security seminar
The School of Business Sciences is offering a free seminar on computer security for the home on Friday, May 12 at 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in room B-209.
Professor Roopa Mathur will present “A Beginner’s Guide to Home Computer Security: How to Protect You and Your Home.” She will cover identity theft, spam,
viruses, worms, spyware, adware, Trojan horses, and phishing attacks. There will also be a presentation on how computer users can protect themselves using firewalls, wireless security, and Windows security.
