College names employee of the year

Georgia McClusky has been named the 2005 Classified Employee of the Year. McClusky works as a Senior Administrative Assistant for the Emeritus Institute, Community and Contract Education, and has been with the college since 2001. McClusky’s award was announced at a campus ceremony in March. Each year, administrators, faculty and fellow employees nominate a classified employee for their professionalism, competence, and adaptability. According to Dave Anderson, Director of Emeritus, Community and Contract, McClusky consistently manages details, large and small, for the betterment of the program and service to the community. She was also praised for her ability to maintain communication with the faculty and staff, and for her efforts in managing the community education and emeritus programs throughout the academic year.
