PE instructor named educator of the year

Irvine Valley College Health and Physical Education Instructor Ted Weatherford has been named California’s General Educator of the Year by the State Community College Organization of Physical Educators (SCOPE). Weatherford will receive his award at the Commission on Athletics (COA) annual convention in Reno on April 8. Weatherford is acknowledged for his exceptional commitment to student success during 20 years as a community college instructor.
