PTK chapter reaches pinnacle

The Alpha Omega Mu Chapter of Irvine Valley’s Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society received the national society’s 2004 Pinnacle Scholarship Award in February. The Pinnacle Award is made to PTK chapters whose growth exceeds 10% or more in three consecutive years. IVC's club grew by nearly 60%, which has helped to make the California/Nevada region the fastest growing in the nation. Irvine Valley’s chapter currently has 50 members. The club received a $100 gift from the national PTK Society.
