Polish paintings explore childhood myths

The Irvine Valley College Art Gallery B-112 will present selected works by Polish painter Snezana Petrovic, March 31 – April 21. The exhibition will open with an artist’s reception on Thursday, March 31 at 7 p.m. Petrovic’s new series is a collection of paintings that dissect and explore an uncharted territory of childhood myths and fairy tales, familiar story characters, and an idealized representation of reality. Gallery Hours are Monday & Wednesday from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m., Tuesday 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., Thursday 12 p.m. – 9 p.m., and Friday 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
