Donate a Coat for the Needy
Nov. 18-Dec. 18
November 29, 2004
The Associated Students of Irvine Valley College (ASIVC) is sponsoring a coat drive to collect coats and outerwear for people in need. For the homeless and impoverished, winter clothing is often out of reach and they must rely on the generosity of strangers to get warm clothing for the winter. You can help. Bring your new or used coats, gloves, hats, or scarves to Irvine Valley College before Dec. 18. Donations will be accepted at the following campus locations: the Speech Lab, Room B-125; the Honors Program Office, Room A-201; and the Student Lounge in the Student Services Center, Room SSC-260. Collected coats will be distributed at the Long Beach Veteran's Hospital and a local family shelter. For more information, please contact ASIVC President Shaun O’Neil at (714) 392-0401.
