IVC Theatre Presents “Platform Stockings: A Holiday Review,” Dec. 8-12

rvine Valley College presents Robert Tomoguchi’s “Platform Stockings,” an original play that blends 17 classic holiday songs with witty, interactive antics by the cast at the Forum Theatre, Dec. 8 – 12. From the 50s’ Santa Baby to traditional favorite O’ Holy Night, carolers make the musical rounds to tickle the funny bone and warm the heart. Show times are Wed. – Sat., 8 p.m. and Sun. 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for students and seniors, $11 for general admission. The Forum Theatre is located in the A-300 Bldg.

Playwright Tomoguchi attended Porter College at UC Santa Cruz where he earned a degree in Modern Literature. His first play “La Casque” was produced by the Insurgo Theater Movement in November 2002. He was a finalist in the 2003 STAGES Theater Survivor Playwriting Competition with his piece “Hello, Are You the Head of the Household?” Tomoguchi currently is studying screenwriting at the University of California, Irvine.
