College Open House on Nov. 8

Irvine Valley College is holding an Open House on Mon., Nov. 8 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., and from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the Student Services Center. The annual Open House is an opportunity for the public and students throughout Orange County to explore their academic options and to help them succeed in college. Working adults will also learn about the many career enhancement and workforce development programs that are available. Guests can meet with faculty and staff to learn “How To Transfer to a Four-Year College,” “What Financial Aid is Available,” “How to Get a Job,” “How to Get Child Care in College,” “What Academic Counseling will do for You,” etc. Staff also will be on hand to answer questions about specific academic programs including Accounting, Business Management, Chemistry Technology, Design Model Making and Rapid Prototyping, Real Estate, and much more.
