Golfers to Tee Off for IVC Students on September 30th

IRVINE, CA The Irvine Valley College Foundation will hold its Tenth Annual Foundation Golf Tournament, sponsored by SBC Pacific Bell, on Tuesday, September 30 at Strawberry Fields Golf Club in Irvine. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., play will commence at 12:30 p.m.

The event is held each year to raise funds for education programs, scholarships and other classroom and campus related needs at IVC. Current state education budget cuts have highlighted the need for our Foundation to raise additional dollars for Irvine Valley College this year, said Chris Pitet, Chairman of the 2003 IVC Foundation Golf Tournament. This golf tournament will raise precious financial resources for our community college campus and students, he added.

Sponsors for the 2003 IVC Foundation Golf Tournament include: Sempra Energy Utilities, Uniscribe, the Enterprise Counsel Group, Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP, Whitmont Legal Copy, and Cox Communications.
