Irvine Valley College Emeritus quilt show opens April 1

An exhibit and celebration of creative quilts and wearable art is scheduled April 1 through 30 at the Tustin Area Senior Center Art Gallery. Quilts featured in this fourth annual event highlight work completed by patchwork and quilting students in Irvine Valley College’s Emeritus Institute.

The public is invited to attend an opening night reception on Friday, April 2 from 5-8 p.m., refreshments will be served. Faculty and students will be available during the reception to answer questions and share their passion for this unique art form.

The quilt show will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, during the month of April. Admission to show is free.
