Piano Sale Fundraiser November 8 - 10

Public is invited to purchase new and used pianos to benefit music department;
pianos may be purchased at reduced price at preview sale.

IRVINE, CA—The Department of Music at Irvine Valley College is holding its annual Piano Benefit Sale on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 8, 9, and 10, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Pianos by Kawai, Steinway, Yamaha, Samik, Petrof, Mason & Hamlin, Baldwin, and Technics will be available for public purchase at significantly reduced prices. Pianos may be purchased by appointment only on Friday and Saturday during a special preview sale. To schedule a private appointment to purchase a piano, call (949) 857-1302. No appointment is needed on Sunday and parking is free.

Irvine Valley College provides valuable services to the communities it serves. As budget cuts in public education mount, colleges must look to other sources to fund the purchase of much needed educational materials and equipment. Each year, the Kawai America Corporation and its regional representative have loaned pianos to IVC for use by the music department for classroom instruction and performance; the pianos are later sold to purchase new instruments for the school. These sales provide IVC with pianos it otherwise would not be able to afford.

The sale includes spinet, console, studio, baby grand, grand and digital pianos. Many of the used pianos are less than a year old and carry a full factory warranty. Prices range from $800 for uprights, $1,500 for baby grands, and $2,000 for grands. New pianos are also available. Financing and delivery can be arranged at the campus. For more information, please call (949) 857-1302.

Irvine Valley College is located at 5500 Irvine Center Drive, on the corner of Jeffery Road and Irvine Center Drive in Irvine.
