IVC Scholarship Golf Tournament at Strawberry Farms

IRVINE, CA -- Irvine Valley College presents its Ninth Annual Foundation Scholarship Golf Tournament on Tuesday, October 1, 2002 at Strawberry Farms Golf Club in Irvine. This year's Presenting Sponsor is Whitmont Legal Copy, Inc. Players of all ability levels are encouraged to participate, and spots are still available for both individual players and foursomes.
Proceeds go to the Irvine Valley College Foundation to provide scholarships to deserving community college students. Over the last ten years, the Foundation has awarded over $1 million in scholarships to students attending IVC.
The event includes 18 holes, lunch, dinner and a silent auction. Luxury cars may be won on Par Threes; local restaurants will showcase their cuisine on numerous holes; and Bayhawk Ales will provide complimentary microbrews.

"The Ninth Annual IVC Foundation Golf Tournament at Strawberry Farms will be our best ever," said Irvine Valley College Foundation Director, William Christiansen. "This is one tournament this year that golfers who want to play for a great cause will not want to miss. And come hungry because the food is exceptional."
