Irvine Valley College Open House, April 29 – May 2

Public invited to campus for free tours, workshops, seminars and demonstrations
to commemorate Community College Month.

IRVINE, CA—April is Community College Month, and Irvine Valley commemorates it with an Open House on Monday, April 29 through Thursday, May 2. The public is invited to attend any of a number of informative and entertaining events on campus including workshops, seminars, demonstrations, and campus-wide tours. The Irvine Valley Open House offers the community an opportunity to experience one of Southern California’s most innovative community colleges. The events and parking are free.

“Come See What IVC Can Offer You” is the theme of IVC’s Open House, which will include tours of the Art Gallery, Library, Student Services Center, Child Development Center, Computer Lab, and more. Seminars and workshops include a health check, blood pressure and fat assessment; a “Job Search Strategies” presentation; a laser and chemistry lab demonstration; and financial aid, scholarship and application workshops.

Campus-wide tours will be held daily, Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. every half hour. Other tours and events will be held Monday April 29; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m, Tuesday, April 30 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Wednesday, May 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Thursday, May 2 from 7 p.m. to 7 p.m. For a detailed list of IVC Open House times and events, go to www.ivc.edu.
