Includes access to online versions of Statistical Abstract of the United States and other statistical references. Bureau of Labor Statistics  The Bureau of Labor Statistics is the principal fact-finding agency for the Federal Government in the broad field of labor economics and statistics.
Refdesk.com  A directory with links to an large number of reference web sites. Internet Public Library  Includes links to reference web sites, on-line books, magazines and newspapers.
Library Spot  A web site for librarians and teachers. It has links to many useful reference sources. Voice of the Shuttle  A web site with links to a very broad range of resources in the humanities, art and music and other subjects.
Info mine  This web site is maintained by university librarians for the use of students and faculty. CIA World Factbook  This reference work has detailed facts about every country and territory in the world. It includes basic facts about geography, people, government, economy, military, and more.
Educator's Reference Desk  Access to ERIC, a large collection of abstracts to research on education. There is also an archive of over 2000 lesson plans and links to resource guides on subjects in the field of education. Globastat  Compares 190 countries to each other in more than 140 categories, ranging from population size to electricity consumption per person. Uses the previous year's CIA World Factbook statistics, but formats them into comparison tables. 
Hoover's Online  Basic reference information about many businesses, news stories about companies or industries. They charge for more in depth information. Rulers  Lists heads of state and heads of government of all countries and territories, going back to about 1700. Also included are the subdivisions of various countries, as well as a selection of international and religious organizations.
Know Play?  Provides searching of a large number of online reference sources such as dictionaries, encyclopedias, thesauri, rhyming dictionaries, atlases, quotations, artists, and acronyms. World Wide Arts Resources  This is a commercial web site for artists, art buyers, and people interested in art. It includes links to museums, galleries, and art news.
One Look Dictionaries  Search many on-line dictionaries at the same time. Also has links to many dictionaries and translators. Project Gutenberg  Project Gutenberg provides internet access to many books in the public domain.
Bartleby.com  An Internet publisher of literature, reference and verse with unlimited access to books and information on the web, free of charge. Children's Digital Library The mission of the ICDL is to select, collect, digitize, and organize children's materials in their original languages and to create appropriate technologies for access and use by children 3-13 years old.
