Irvine Valley director of volleyball and women's head coach Tom Pestolesi is teaching a course during Concordia University's Master of Coaching and Athletic Administration (MCAA) department's California Coaches Conference.

The five-day conference got underway on Monday, June 25.

Most of the conference is taking place at Concordia, but Pestolesi's course will be at Irvine Valley College.

And he will have a couple of friends and volleyball legends helping him out.

Pestolesi was slated to have three-time Olympic gold medalist Karch Kiraly for a Q&A session on Monday at 1 p.m., and then two-time Olympic gold medalist Misty May-Treanor on Wednesday at 1 p.m.

The Daily Pilot's Joe Haakenson wrote about the course and Pestolesi's involvement in a recent article.
