Irvine Valley men's basketball players spent some time giving back last week when they put on a clinic for students at a local middle school.

Laser players such as guards Kalob Hatcher, Ramon Mejia and Steel Sylte and forwards Zach Mills, Michael Bolden and Chris Taylor worked with students on fundamentals, skills and games.

The clinic was led by Irvine Valley associate head coach Andrew Alhadeff, who said he has wanted to put together a clinic like this for a while now.\

And he plans on having the Lasers do more in the future.

Alhadeff said a good time was had by all.
