The 2012 CCCAA Southern California Regional Championships are being held Thursday, May 3 through Saturday, May 5 at Irvine Valley College.

The top eight seeds in both singles and doubles won matches and moved on to day two action.

Each of the top eight seeds in singles, including top-seeded Moises Cardenas of LA Pierce, won matches in straight sets the first day.

Day two play gets underway at 11 a.m. on Friday. The singles championship will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday with the doubles championship at 4 p.m.
