Caring Faculty
At IVC, the faculty cares about you and your education. Our instructors teach in small, comfortable classes averaging in size from 25-35 students. You will most likely receive more individual attention from your instructors at IVC than you would find in overcrowded introductory courses at universities.

Excellent Academic Programs
IVC offers a choice of high-quality academic programs to meet diverse student needs and interests. Some students prepare to transfer to a four-year college or university, completing the first two years of undergraduate requirements at IVC. Other students choose to earn an associate degree in any of over 60 major fields of study or complete an occupational certificate in one of over 30 different areas.

First-Rate Facilities
The college computer center is equipped with the latest in technology for students, including Pentium(c)-based and Macintosh Power PC computers, Novell and NT servers, network services, scanners, and video digitizers.

The 35,000-square-foot IVC Library includes an automated catalog system, high-tech studio-classroom, numerous Internet workstations with connections to the World Wide Web, and computer workstations with connections to databases from CD-Rom or Internet sites.  Books, periodicals, and excellent research and information service are available for students.

Sports facilities include soccer and softball fields, lighted outdoor tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, outdoor basketball courts and the 1,800-seat Hart Gymnasium. The Life Fitness complex is a complete workout center with weight-training and aerobic exercise equipment, a separate Strength Training Center, showers and locker rooms.

A Supportive Environment
IVC strives to meet the needs of our international students while they are in the U.S., offering academic and personal counseling, assistance in transferring to four-year colleges and universities, and health services. The International Student Center assists international students with applications and U.S. immigration issues.

An Invigorating College Life
A good learning experience is more than just academics. It is making friends and being part of a team. You are invited to join one of the many active student clubs or become part of the Associated Students, the official governing body for all areas of student concern. Our athletic teams, the Lasers, compete in men's and women's basketball, soccer, tennis, cross-country, and volleyball, as well as women's softball.

A Reasonable Cost
The tuition at Irvine Valley College is far less than that of other public and private institutions.
