Introduction

The 100-acre Irvine Valley College (IVC) campus is nestled in the last of the old orange groves of central Irvine. The city of Irvine is rated as one of the safest cities in the U.S. Our campus borders a thriving business and technology center, beautiful residential communities, and lush agricultural land. The warm shores of the Pacific are just a few miles away. Students enjoy the proximity of the Southern California deserts and mountains for camping and hiking. World famous Disneyland is only a short drive away. The college is five miles from the University of California at Irvine, one hour from Los Angeles (to the north) and San Diego (to the south).

IVC is a two-year community college, fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. We are supported locally and by the state of California. The college has an enrollment of more than 13,000 students including 350 international students representing over 46 countries.
