SOCCCD KnowledgeBase and MySite Agent
The new SOCCCD KnowledgeBase contains a searchable list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for IVC and Saddleback students. The MySite Agent provides access to the FAQs via AOL Instant Messenger.

Class Schedules and Catalogs
Class Schedules (the thin paper schedules) are sent out automatically to every zip code in south Orange County and there are tons of them available on campus. Also, the class schedule is available online.

Class Catalogs (the thick book that comes out in Fall) is available for purchase at the Bookstore. We don't mail them out. The class catalog is also available online.

International students please see the international student office page or send an email to Maria Lopez.

Questions about classes and programs, such as:

"does IVC have nursing classes?"
"does IVC have animation classes?"
"will the math class that I'm taking transfer to Fullerton?"

please look at the IVC Catalog, the IVC Schedule of Classes, or use the Online Educational Counseling system.

Questions about registration, fees, residency requirements, grades, and other admissions-related issues, please look at the Admissions and Records web pages or send an email to the Admissions office.

Antique Market and CarFaire

The Antique Market is held the first Sunday of every month 7am-3pm in the IVC parking lot. Call 949-786-5277 for information.

The CarFaire is held every Saturday in the parking lot near the Jeffrey entrance. Call 800-220-4441 for more information

Note: The Antique Market and CarFaire events are not affiliated with IVC or the SOCCCD. We only mention them here because a lot of people ask us about them.

Tips for finding something on the web site:

Use the search function - type one or two words that describes what you're looking for (example: admissions or basketball) in the search box at the top of this page then click the Search button.
Look in the directory. It contains locations and phone numbers for all campus office.
If you still cannot find what you are looking for, please email us and tell us.

Browser help:

Different browsers will render these web pages slightly differently. The pages are functional in all major browsers currently in use. There are some issues with Netscape 4.7 regarding the CSS hover tags and the cell spacing. These issues are problems with Netscape and are corrected in the latest version.

If the pages look strange or are not functioning correctly in your browser, please do the following:

If you are not using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or later or Netscape 6.2 or later, please upgrade to one of those browsers.
If you are still experiencing problems, please email us and tell us. Include the type of computer you have, which operating system you are using (e.g., Mac OS 9.1, Mac OS X, Linux, Windows 95,98,Me,NT,2000,XP), screen resolution and color depth, and the problem you are experiencing.

MySite Help
MySite has help information in the web pages - click the question mark. To log in, you need your Student ID and your PIN number (the number printed on your telephone registration card). Faculty and Staff use their email login information. If you need additional MySite help, send an email to MySiteAdmin@socccd.cc.ca.us .
