Proposal Idea and Grant Concept Development

Grant funding is not about the money.  It is about opportunity, innovation and scholarly endeavor. Grants fund projects and programs that will make a difference. 

It can take from six months to one year to develop an idea into a grant proposal, and another six months to one year for a grant to be awarded.  The Office of Institutional Grants provides technical support including:

• Framing ideas into fundable projects
• Identifying potential grant funding sources
• Interpreting grant guidelines
• Developing project budgets
• Providing supporting research/data
• Writing institutional boilerplate
